Ratchet kick Starter For TVS Apache RTR 160 2V | 4V | Apache RTR 180 2V BS6
Usage & Utility
A ratchet kick starter’s use on a bike is to transfer the riders forceful downward kick into controlled rotation of the engine’s crankshaft, allowing the engine to start. The ratchet mechanism allows the kick starter lever to engage and turn the engine’s internal components like the clutch housing and crankshaft in one direction but automatically disengages when the lever is released, preventing it from spinning backward and causing a dangerous kickback.
